Pray the Exodus – Song of Moses Prayer
O Lord, Most High, who showed yourself strong in
the deliverance of Your people when You liberated them
from the will of Pharoah and the armies of Egypt, hear
this prayer of the Exodus for the peoples and nations of
Latin America (the USA / Morocco and North Africa /
Portugal and Europe.) It is Your greatness above the
gods of that day and this day which we extol. It is Your
mighty power upon which we call and Your
lovingkindness upon which we rely for the faith of this
prayer and the obedience of speaking out for Exodus in
our day, once again.
The Song of Moses is our prayer. This Psalm, Moses’
wonderous testimony of victory, the Hebrew children’s
jubilant praise for liberation, is our song of hope. We are
stretching ourselves out to You for Your mighty power to
be released in answer to our prayers in this day. We are
expressing our faith in the God of Exodus as we pray.
*Indeed, we hold our prayer to be an obedience to ‘Pray
the Exodus for Latin America!’ So, we are lifting up our
voices in our generation for exodus to come in our day,
too!
You were recognized as a warrior in this Song of
Moses’, O Lord, because Your deliverance was a defeat
of human and demonic powers – principalities in the real
world of the Hebrew children’s experience. So we call to
you for the defeat of human and demonic powers, the
unrighteous principalities in the nations for which we
pray and the peoples for whom we intercede. Deliver
them in this day from that which oppresses and enslaves
them. Defeat those powers which exalt themselves over
and against Jesus Christ’s inheritance of the nations and
His possession of the ends of the earth. It is the word of
the Father, the Almighty, for which we contend in prayer
today before your throne, in your courts and here in our
temporal world in which the battle rages for the peoples
and the nations. May your kingdom come and your will
be done on earth as in heaven, our Father whose name
we hallow. Deliver us from evil.
You fought in their stead. When Moses did his part in
obedience to Your voice each time he confronted
Pharoah, You took up the plagues as the weapons of
Egypt’s defeat. In each case You defeated the spiritual
powers of Egypt’s priests and their gods. As the song
says, ‘Who is like You among the gods, O Lord?’
When the Hebrew children sacrificed their lambs in
obedient faith and put the atoning blood of their family’s
lamb on the doorposts and lintels of the homes in which
they ate the first Passover meal instituted by their god, at
midnight You stretched out Your hand and struck the
firstborn in all the land of Egypt. It was terrifying for the
whole of Egypt who were suffering because of their
leader’s obstinance against the word you spoke to him.
So much so that in the middle of the night, Pharoah
called for Moses and Aaron to tell them, ‘Rise up and

So much so that in the middle of the night, Pharoah
called for Moses and Aaron to tell them, ‘Rise up and
get out from among my people, both you and the sons of
Israel; and go worship the Lord as you have said.’ All
the people were so happy to see them go that they
offered them anything they asked just to see them leave.
Then, when Pharoah changed his mind about
releasing those who had been in slavery, You set Your
presence between him and the sons of Israel. And when
You opened the Red Sea before them for their crossing
on dry land, You closed the same waters upon Pharoah
and his army, obliterating them and all their threatening
intentions to recapture Your children. Who is like You
among the gods, O Lord? Who is like You, majestic in
holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders?
You brought forth real deliverance in the lofty realm
of the nations. In time and space, You saved Jacob’s
family and his legacy delivering Abraham’s descendants
through whom all the nations of the earth would be
blessed. The great power of Your ‘exodus action’
liberated the Hebrew children from Egypt and brought
them into the inheritance of the nations: their own name,
their own land, their own culture, their own god, and
their own destiny.
It would be a true representation of both eternal and
temporal reality to declare that the great power of Your
‘exodus action’ extends to this day, coming to us through
the full history of Israel to the time of Jesus Christ;
through His incarnation, His life and ministry, His death,
His resurrection and His ascension; through the day of
Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit and the sending
of His disciples into all the world as witnesses from
Jerusalem to Judea, to Samaria to the uttermost parts of
the earth.
You fought in their stead in the days of Jacob and
Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Miriam and Joshua, and You
have fought in our stead, through the days of King
David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel; on into the
days and through the work of Jesus, the son of David,
fulfilling Your word and Your will. The battle has gone
on through the servant leadership of apostles, prophets,
evangelists, pastors and teachers amongst your ecclesia:
the chosen race, the royal priesthood, the holy nation of
people who once were not a people, now made a people
by your mercy, now received as your children by the
work of Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit,
living out their obedience and destiny in this world of
war, this world of sacrifice and suffering because of
iniquity and the darkened intentions of Satanically
aligned, fallen beings, this world of battle and
overcoming through the death and resurrection victory
of your Son, a victory inherited by all your children in
Christ.
Our destiny on this earth is directly tied to the reign
of Jesus Christ throughout this age and most specifically
in the days of our earthly lives. We say to he who has
overcome the world, ‘Command deliverance for nations

Does not the Song of Moses, indeed, end with this
declaration, ‘The Lord shall reign forever and ever!’?
We say, ‘So be it and Amen!’
Ex. 15:2-18 – I will sing to the Lord, for He has
triumphed gloriously / for He is highly exalted; the horse
and its rider He has thrown into the sea. The Lord is my
strength and song, and He has become my salvation; this

Pharoah’s chariots and his army He has cast into the

Red Sea. The deeps cover them; they went down into the
depths like a stone.
Your right hand, O Lord, is majestic in power. Your

greatness of Your excellence, You overthrow those who
rise up against You. You send forth Your burning anger
and it consumes them as chaff. At the blast of Your

Pray the Exodus – The Gospel
A Declarative Prayer from Acts / Romans /
Revelation / Ephesians
-The God who made the world and everything in it
is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in
temples made by human hands. And he is not
served by human hands as if he needed anything.
Rather he himself gives everyone life and breath
and everything else.
-From one man he made all the nations that they
should inhabit all the earth; and he marked out their
appointed times in history and the boundaries of
their lands. God did this so that they would seek
him and perhaps reach out for him and find him,
though he is not far from any of us. For in him we
live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:24-28)
-The gospel is the power of God for salvation to
everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to
the gentiles. For in it the righteousness of God is
revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The
righteous shall live by faith.’ For the wrath of God
is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who by their
unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be
known about God is plain to them, because God has
shown it to them. For his invisible attributes,
namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have
been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of
the world, in the things that have been made. So,
they are without excuse. For although they knew
God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks
to him, but they became futile in their thinking and
their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be
wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of
the immortal God for images resembling mortal
man and birds and animals and creeping things.
-Therefore, God gave them up in the lusts of their
hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies
among themselves, because they exchanged the
truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served
the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed
forever! Amen. (Romans 1:16-25)
-It is written: ‘Therefore you have no excuse, O
man, every one of you…Do you suppose, O man,
…that you will escape the judgement of God? Or do
you presume on the on the riches of his kindness
and forbearance and patience not knowing that
God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
But because of your hard and impenitent heart you
are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath
when God’s righteous judgement will be revealed.’

-He will render to each one according to his works:
to those who by patience in well-doing seek for
glory and honor and immortality, he will give
eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and
do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness,
there will be wrath and fury. There will be
tribulation and stress for every human being who
does evil…but glory and peace for everyone who
does good…for God shows no partiality. (Romans
2:1-11)
-What then? Jews and Gentiles are under sin, as it is
written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one; no one
understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned
aside; together they have become worthless; no one
does good, not even one.’
-But now the righteousness of God has been
manifest – the righteousness of God through faith in
Christ Jesus for all who believe. For there is no
distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift,
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
whom God put forward as a propitiation by his
blood, to be received by faith. This was to show
God’s righteousness, because in his divine
forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was
to show his righteousness at the present time, so that
he might be just and the justifier of the one who has
faith in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:9-12; 21-26)
-For what does the Scripture say? ‘Abraham
believed God, and it was counted to him as
righteousness.’ Now to the one who works, his
wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And
to the one who does not work but believes in him
who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as
righteousness, just as David also speaks of the
blessing of the one whom God counts as
righteousness apart from works: ‘Blessed are those
whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins
are covered; blessed is the man against whom the
Lord will not count his sins.’
-That is why it depends on faith, in order that the
promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all
his offspring – not only to the adherent of the law
but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham,
who is the father of us all, as it is written, ‘I have
made you the father of many nations’ – in the
presence of the God in whom he believed, who
gives life to the dead and calls into existence the
things that do not exist…no unbelief made him
waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew
strong in faith as he gave glory to God, fully
convinced that God was able to do what he had
to those who by patience in well-doing seek for
glory and honor and immortality, he will give
eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and
do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness,

him’ were not written for his sake alone, but for
those who believe today also. It will be counted to
those who believe in him who raised from the dead
Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our
trespasses and raised for our justification. (Romans
4:3-8; 16-17; 20-21; 24-25)
-For while humanity was still weak in sinfulness, at
the right time Christ died for the ungodly…yes, God
shows his love for humankind in that while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us…for if while we were
enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of
his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled,
shall we be saved by his life.
-So, just as sin came into the world through one
man, and death through sin, so death spread to all
men because all sinned. But the free gift is not like
the trespass. For if many died through one man’s
trespass, much more have the grace of God and the
free gift by the grace of that one man, Jesus Christ,
abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the
result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment
following one trespass brought condemnation, but
the free gift following many trespasses brought
justification. For if, because of one man’s trespass,
death reigned through that one man, much more
will those who receive the abundance of grace and
the free gift of righteousness reign in life through
the one man, Jesus Christ… so that, as sin reigned
in death, grace might also reign through
righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus
Christ the Lord. (Romans 5:6, 8, 10, 12, 15-17, 21)
-Do you not know that all who have been baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Those who were buried with him in baptism, were
baptized in order that just as Christ was raised from
the dead by the glory of the Father, humanity might
walk in newness of life…for the wages of sin is
death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus
Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:3-4; 26)
-There is therefore now no condemnation for those
who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of
life has set those who believe free from the law of
sin and death. For God has done what the law could
not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the
flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the
law might be fulfilled in those who walk not
according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

(Romans 8:1-4)
-What does the Scripture say: The word is near you,
even in your mouth – the word of faith which is
proclaimed – because if one confesses with his
mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believes in his
heart that God has raised him from the dead, he will
be saved. For with the heart one believes and is
justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is
saved. For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who
believes in him will not be put to shame.’ And
‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will
be saved’ because the same Lord is Lord of all,
bestowing his riches on all who call on him.
(Romans 10:8-13)
-Thus it is written also, ‘Now to him who is able to
strengthen all according to the gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the
revelation of the mystery that was kept for long
ages but has now been disclosed and through the
prophetic writings has been made known to all
nations, according to the command of the eternal
God, to bring about the obedience of faith – to the
only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus
Christ! Amen. (Romans 16: 25-27)
-And so it is fitting that it is written in the Book of
the Revelation of Jesus Christ: And from the throne
came a voice saying, ‘Praise our God, all you his
servants, you who fear him great and small’ And an
angel said, ‘I am a fellow servant with you and your
brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the
spirit of prophesy.’ (Revelation 19:11)
These things are written! We give voice to them
on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ and according to
the words of His Gospel. Indeed, as Moses declared
in the courts of Pharoah at the time of the Hebrew
children’s exodus, now let those words be heard
today in the Spirit according to the great might that
was exercised when Jesus Christ was raised from
the dead and seated at the right hand of God, far
above all rule and authority, power and dominion
and above every name that is named not only in this
age but in the age to come, ‘Let my people go that
they may serve me! Let my people go to worship
me!’
In this time of the Gospel, from the realm of the
victorious reign of the Lord Jesus Christ, let it be
heard, ‘Behold, now is the favorable time; behold,
now is the day of Salvation…The night is far gone;
the day is at hand. So let us cast off the works of
darkness and put on the armor of light…putting on
the new self, created after the likeness of God in
true righteousness and holiness.’ So be it! Amen!
even in your mouth – the word of faith which is
proclaimed – because if one confesses with his
mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believes in his
heart that God has raised him from the dead, he will

Pray the Exodus: Let all the earth fear the Lord
Our Supplication
How badly we need this instruction, Lord! In these
days when so many call evil good and good evil, bring
your voice to our city, to the nations that are plagued
with many voices calling what is righteous, unrighteous,
and that which is unrighteous, righteous. Our days are
full of people calling the just, unjust, and the unjust, just.
The air is full of calling what is sweet, bitter and what is
bitter, sweet. Today the abnormal is embraced as normal
and normal is labeled abnormal. Love is called hateful
and hate is called lovely. But your word is, ‘Keep your
tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good.’ Save us with your
voice of wisdom and revelation, your light, your truth.
Send out your light and truth and let them lead us, O
Lord.
Must we be ruled by falsehood? Must we be led
astray by deception? Must we be dominated by wicked-
ness, enticed by perversion or imprisoned by lies? Must
we live in chains of foolishness? We are your creations
and because of Jesus Christ’s atoning sacrifice, Father
has delivered us from the domain of darkness and
transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in
whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. The
Lord redeems the life of his servants!
We call to you for deliverance from twisted ideas and
those who perpetuate them. Save us from those who
fight for them. Those who attack the truth in order to
supplant truth with lies and those who set their faces to
persecute truth tellers. Deliver us from those who have
intentions to enslave and destroy. They have intentions
to rule with lies. The Apostle Paul would describe them
with words like those in his letter to the Ephesians,
‘Walk no longer as the pagans do – stumbling around in
the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their
understanding, alienated from the life of God because of
the ignorance in them due to the hardness of their hearts.
Since they are past feeling, they have turned themselves
over to indecency for the practice of every kind of
immorality, with greed for more.’
Deliver us from evil…you taught us to pray that!
We’re praying for that right now. What about exodus in
our day? Let us have a liberation from Pharaohs, false
gods, their priests and practitioners. Release us from the
slavery that comes with them in our personal lives, our
families, our cities and our nations.
It is recorded in the Sermon on the Mount that you
taught us to seek first the Father’s kingdom and his
righteousness and to pray while, hallowing Father’s
name above all others, ‘May your kingdom come and
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ In that
same teaching you taught us to pray, ‘Deliver us from
evil.’ Okay, we’re praying that right now, for cities and
for nations in our day. This is for my city, .
This is for my country, ____ This is for
Latin America.
As in the Proverbs, where Wisdom is personified, it
says, ‘Does not Wisdom cry out? Does not
understanding raise her voice? On the heights beside the
way, at the crossroads she takes her stand; beside the
gates in front of the town, at the entrance of the portals
she cries aloud: ‘To you, O men, I call, and my cry is to
the children of man.’ Holy Spirit, you are welcome on
the streets of our city and the highways and byways of
the nations where we have the authority to invite you.
Call to those who will listen, ‘What man is there who
desires life and loves many days, that he may see good?’
Seek them out! Identify them! Meet with them! Teach
them! Open their eyes and their ears! Soften their hearts
to You! Transform them by the renewing of their minds!
Give them faith! Instill courage in them and motivate
them to rule in the midst of their enemies! Arm them
with the sword of the Spirit and the faith to move
mountains…to shout, ‘Grace, grace, grace,’ not by might
nor by power but by Your Spirit!
There is so much evil being perpetrated these days, it
is a ripe time to engage all who desire good. The contrast
is so clear today to those with eyes to see. Those who
cannot find it may well receive it from You today. Call
out to those with ears to hear, ‘Come, O children, listen
to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Keep your
tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue
it.’
Lift the veil that has been purposely thrown over the
Gospel…tear it in two again in our day! It seems to be a
good day for imprisoned populations to turn and be
healed. It seems to be a day of salvation. Open the eyes
of the blind that they may see. We are calling out to you,
the Lord of our Salvation. We must know by your voice
all about the day we are in and the time of your libera-
tion. Continue to teach us to pray. ‘Those who look to
the Lord are radiant, and their faces shall not be
ashamed.’
Once again we pray that you send out your light and
truth and let them lead us, Lord. Let them lead families
and generations. Let them lead cities and nations. Let
your light and truth lead the peoples into freedom from
their sins and their iniquity, from their transgressions and
their error-by-ignorance; from their enslavement to
social trends and imprisonment to generational captivity;
for the sins of the fathers no longer need to pass onto the
children before the Lord. Let your light and truth break
through culturally accepted darkness that has captivated
many and from which many shall break free! Free the
people from bent human rulers and spiritual forces of
wickedness. Let your light and truth break bondages,
bind up wounds and dispel the fog of deception’s
darkness. Let the healing embedded in your light and
truth heal broken hearts and free deceived minds.

Our Declaration
Right now, in this place, at this very time we exalt the
Lord of lovingkindness and deliverance. We speak these
declarations from the Scriptures to honor our God and
the truth of his word in these very days and to declare to
the families, peoples and nations the ways and the word
of the Lord God of hosts who is good. Hear. Receive.
Believe. Turn. Be healed.
These Things Are Written.
Let them be heard. Let them be known.
Let them be spoken. Let them be received.
Let all the earth fear the Lord for the word of the Lord
is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him
for he loves righteousness and just judgements.
Let all the earth fear the Lord for the earth is full of the
steadfast love of the Lord.
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him
for by the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and
by the breath of his mouth all their host.
Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of
the world stand in awe of him; for he spoke, and it came
to be; he commanded and it stood firm.
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples. The counsel of the
Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all
generations. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people
whom he has chosen as his heritage. Let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the
children of man; from where he sits enthroned, he looks
out on all the inhabitants of the earth – he who fashions
the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. Let all
the earth fear the Lord.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may
deliver their soul from death and keep them alive when
their life is threatened by famine. Let all the inhabitants
of the world stand in awe of him.
You are our help and our shield. We trust
in your holy name and our hearts are glad in you.
Let your steadfast love be upon us as we hope in you.
Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no
iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. Let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
It was the blood of a lamb that brought about this
forgiveness and reconciliation in the power of the
Passover when David wrote these blessings. Today it is
the blood of Jesus Christ; for he was slain and with his
blood he purchased for God people from every tribe and
tongue, people group and nation. And he has made us to
be a kingdom and priests to our God, and we shall reign
on the earth. Let all the earth fear the Lord! Let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
Hallelujah! We rejoice in the blood –
O the precious blood of Jesus,
the atoning sacrifice!
O the cleansing and forgiveness!
O the mercy and the life!
O the reconciliation,
the adoption as his sons!
O the new birth, and the welcome –
once enslaved, now holy, one.
O Redeemer, Overcomer
of this world, our liberty!
Christ in us the hope of glory –
O the shout of victory!
Let the peoples recognize him,
cities, nations bend their knee;
for the Lord is strong to save us.
He who reigns has set us free!
Bring the Exodus of Israel
to the peoples of today.
Let the promised land as Canaan,
be the nations for the saved.
Let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time
when you may be found. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
You are a hiding place for us; you preserve us from
trouble; you surround us with shouts of deliverance. Let
all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of you!
Steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the
Lord. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
‘I will instruct you in the way you should go.’ says the
Lord, ‘I will counsel you with my eye upon you. Be not
like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which
must be curbed with a bit and a bridle, or it will not stay
near you.’ Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in
awe of him!
‘Come, O children, listen to me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will
teach you the fear of the Lord.’ Let all the earth fear the
Lord!
‘What man is there who desires life and loves many
days, that he may see good?’ says the Lord. ‘Keep your
tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue
it.’ Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of
him!
Those who look to the Lord are radiant, and their faces
shall never be ashamed. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
The angel of the Lord encamps around those fear him
and delivers them. Let all the inhabitants of the world
stand in awe of him!
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the
man who takes refuge in him. Let all the earth fear the
Lord!
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his
ears toward their cry. When the righteous cry for help,
the Lord hears and delivers them out of their troubles.
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut
off the memory of them from the earth. Affliction will
slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be
condemned. Let all the earth fear the Lord!
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the
crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the
righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Let
all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of
those who take refuge in him will be condemned. Let all
the earth fear the Lord!
Hear the word of the Lord. The testimony is true! Let
all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
Praying for Deliverance
Ah, Lord God! It is You who have made the
heavens and the earth by Your great power and by
Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too had for You.
You show steadfast love to thousands, but You
repay the guilt of fathers to their children after
them. O great and mighty God whose name is the
Lord of hosts, great in counsel and mighty in deed,
whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children
of man, rewarding each one according to his ways
and according to the fruit of his deeds. You have
shown signs and wonders in the land of Egypt and
to this day in Israel and among all mankind and
have made a name for Yourself as in this day. You
brought Your people, Israel, out of the land of Egypt
with signs and wonders and with a strong hand and
outstretched arm and with great terror, fear and awe.
And You gave them the land which You promised to
their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
And they entered and took possession of it.
(Jeremiah 32:17-23)
Ah, Lord God, it is to You that we cry, ‘Deliver!’
You are the God whom the Apostle Paul introduced
to the Athenians in this way – much in agreement
with Jeremiah’s prayer we just prayed – ‘The God
who made the world and everything in it, being
Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples
made by man, nor is He served by human hands as
though He needed anything since He gives to
mankind life and breath and everything. And He
made from one man every nation of mankind to live
on all the face of the earth, having determined
allotted periods and boundaries of their dwelling
place, that they should seek God and perhaps feel
their way toward Him and find Him. Yet He is not
far from each one of us, for ‘In Him we live and
move and have our being…for we are indeed His
offspring.’
Right now we are reaching out to You for our
nations. (The USA / Latin America / N. Africa) We
are recognizing Your authority in the realm of
nations, over all our generations, and throughout all
of Your creation. You are Lord and there is no other.
Deliver our land. Deliver our nation(s). Deliver our
families. Deliver us from ungodly leaders who hold
us in the power of their own dominion. Give us
righteous leaders who honor Your word and serve
Your purposes in our land. Deliver us from the
Pharaohs that rule us.
It is written from of old and we believe the
report of it:
For since the world began, no ear has heard and no
eye has seen a God like You, who acts in behalf of
those who wait upon Him. You welcome him…You
meet with those who gladly work righteousness and
follow in Your ways. Indeed, the eyes of the Lord
are everywhere keeping watch on the wicked and
the good…searching to and fro throughout the
whole earth to show Yourself strong in support of
those hearts are blameless toward You.
Liberate us, then, as people groups from the
power of false religions and gods that are not God.
Deliver us from philosophical, sociological,
spiritual and governmental presuppositions which
lead the peoples astray into destructive perspectives
on humanity and lifestyles of dissipation. Open
blind eyes and deaf ears today in our nations. Set
the peoples free from the burdens that strong people
have laid upon the weak; that people with darkened
anointings to deceive the undiscerning. Deliver us
from burdens that we cannot bear and untangle what
has bound us to evil practices and destruction.
Save the generations from the sins of their
forefathers. That is the power of the cross and
redemption. That is the power of the love of the
Father sending His only begotten Son into this
fallen world. In the power of the resurrection and
the actuality of the ascension of the Son of man to
the right hand of the God and Father of us all,
deliver us and take up our nations as the heritage of
Jesus Christ! All the positioning and resistance
recorded in Psalm 2 is going on today at every
level. Because these things are so very evident, we
are calling for the promise of Jesus Christ’s
inheritance of the nations and His receiving the very
ends of the earth to be enacted from the heavenlies
in our day.
If only the peoples would hear; if only they
would see and turn…believe and be healed.
We cry, ‘Dig the wells again where they’ve been!
Build the walls again where they’ve been!
Speak the word again where it’s been.
Lift the veil where it has been raised up against
the knowledge of the Lord.
Lift the veil where it is culturally sustained,
maintained by design through pretentious
worldviews and the powerful deceptions of
world forces of darkness in operation today.’
We declare, ‘Let the people go that they may be free
to serve Father’s anointed Son, whom
He has installed as King on Zion!
Hallelujah! The Lord our God, the
Almighty reigns!
May Your kingdom come and Your will
be done on earth as it is in heaven!
Deliver us from evil and make us one and
all overcomers!
It is not only the physically captive to whom You
give liberty, O Lord, but the spiritually enslaved and
those who are cultural captives as weas well. To
them You have promised freedom. As it was
foretold in Isaiah 61, Jesus proclaimed a gospel of
liberty. And He quoted this prophetic passage in the
synagogues where He worshiped as He moved from
villages to cities throughout Israel announcing a
new day, a new way, a new life, a new reality…the
kingdom of God and His righteousness…His reign
– an unending government and peace that would
ever increase and never pass away. Bring it on in
our day, O Lord! We say, ‘To Him who sits on the
throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and
glory and power forever and ever!’
We hold these things to be true in Isaiah’s day.
We hold these things to be true in Jesus day. And
we hold Isaiah’s words to be true in our day. He
said,
‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and
the opening of the prison to those who are bound,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,
and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn,
to grant to those who live in Zion
giving to them a garland of joy instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord.
Liberate us from the chains of enslavement that
restrain us by the Spirit of the Lord and the power
of the Gospel. Deliver us from the task of making
bricks for our Pharaoh’s building program for
according to the prophet, Your people shall rebuild
ancient ruins, they shall raise up former
devastations and repair the ruined cities…the
desolations of many generations. They shall be
called the priests of the Lord and ministers of our
God. Instead of shame, they shall have a double
portion and instead of humiliation they shall shout
for joy over their portion. Your liberation shall be
generational, for the prophet Isaiah said, ‘then their
offspring will be known among the nations and their
descendants in the midst of the peoples. And all
who see them will recognize them because they are
the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.’ Indeed,
with the word of the Lord we declare in faith that as
the earth brings forth her sprouts and as the garden
causes the things sown in it to spring up, so the
Lord will cause righteousness and praise to spring
up before all nations.’
Let righteousness and praise spring up here, in
front of our eyes! In front of Louisville, KY! In
front of the United States of America! In front of all
the nations of Latin America! In front of Morocco,
Algeria, Tunisia, Libia and Egypt, Gaza and Israel!
So be it, Lord God of hosts.
Pray the Exodus
for Civil Government and Society
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders! And blessed be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen.
‘Yes!’ we say, ‘Let it be so in our day, O Lord!’ When David wrote this 72nd Psalm for the blessing and success of Solomon’s government in and over the nation of Israel, he was calling to the Lord of the heavens and the earth to lead and shape an earthly rule as these things are done under the rule of heaven. It is very clear that David was praying in this respect the same prayer that our Lord Jesus taught us to pray when we say, ‘Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. May your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as in heaven…for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen’
Right now, we recognize our dependance upon You as our God and the God of the nations who see you for who you are – King of kings and Lord of lords who fills the whole earth with his glory. We declare that You alone work wonders to bring about Your will on earth. It was the successive wonders of the work of Your hand, the display of your power and the manifestation of your glory that brought about the Exodus of the Hebrew children from Egypt and delivered them into the Promised Land. It was the wonder of Your will coming to pass in the world of your creation that brought about the incar-nation of Jesus, the Christ, Son of God and Man.
You alone worked such wonders that all the prophesies about Your only begotten Son came to pass in his life of obedience, in his atoning death, in his victorious resurrection, and in his glorious ascension upon the clouds of heaven; whereupon You, O Ancient of Days, gave him dominion and glory and a kingdom that all peoples, nations and languages might serve him.’ Jesus’ testimony to his disciples of these things foreseen and recorded by Daniel was, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me…’ Daniel’s testimony went on to say, ‘His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away; and his kingdom, one that shall never be destroyed.’
And when the Apostle Paul refers to these wondrous things, he writes, ‘I pray the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches
of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him who fills all in all.’
How wonderful is that! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Living God! Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders! And blessed be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen!
Indeed, this wonder of the exaltation of Jesus Christ as Lord – the intended end result of the incarnation itself as witnessed to by Peter on the Day of Pentecost when he proclaimed, ‘This Jesus whom you have crucified, God has made both Lord and Christ,’ – is the eternal and the existential cornerstone of both life and liberty in this fallen, pre-recreated world of our existence, into which redemption and reconciliation have come. Yes, and it is the rock upon which Paul built the declaration, ‘For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things exist…all things hold together.’
Enlighten the eyes of our hearts as Paul prayed that we would see both the temporal and the eternal hope of the calling of God upon Jesus and His calling upon we who believe…we who have in our creation and our rebirth the riches of His glorious inheritance made operative through the surpassing greatness of His power toward those who believe. It is the wonder of His own working that fulfills this reality – ‘if by the transgression of one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.’ So, then, this is how we have been
restored to what has long been recognized as the Dominion Mandate given to mankind in the beginning and now restored to the glory that is bound up in Christ. Then and now we are called and empowered to multiply, to fill the earth and to rule well as the Lord’s managers of His creation in every sphere of life, in every place on earth, every hill, mountain, valley, island, village, city and nation.
It is upon these keys of the kingdom, these truths in heaven and upon the earth that we turn our prayers to societies, cultures, families, governments cities, nations and generations.
As different as the day of Solomon’s coronation was from what our days are, the continuing similarity is that, as in that day, this day has demonic principalities contesting for dominance over societies, cultures, families, generations and nations as entities which can and will ‘choose this day whom you will serve.’ In the end, this choice of…‘whom you will serve’… will have either righteous or wicked characteristics, upright or crooked ways and the fruit of either life of death. The peoples and nations of the earth will either be blessed or cursed; they will either be a blessing, bearing the fruit of righteousness, liberty and peace upon the earth or they will produce wickedness, slavery, and destruction. They will either draw people into reconciliation and fellowship with Lord God, cradling that very wonder in the bosom of their corporate life, or they will offer only destructive alternatives and the misery of corporate unfulfillment through domination and strife.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus we come before you in the courts of your throne room to plead for good government in our cities and nations all over Latin America. As David prayed for Solomon, we ask You to give our leaders Your just judgements and to bestow Your righteousness to the generations in our civil governments, our families, our cultural values, throughout every component of our society and in the lives of our citizens through the power of your salvation, your grace and mercy.
May Your church rise up in the strength of the Holy Spirit to be Your witness to the unfathomable riches of Christ and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages past has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places in accordance with the eternal purpose which was carried out in
Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.
Here we stand. Hear our cry.
Let it be that the mountains would bring peace to the people and the hills in righteousness today in our cities and nations as David spoke over Israel in Solomon’s time. Let every place of authority produce peace in society and good management throughout the government under the oversight of the Prince of peace, the Son of Righteousness. We need Your government and Your peace, O Lord!
- Bring us to the transformation bound up in Your redemption and restoration from the mountain tops and the hilltops down and from the grassroots upward that Your glory may be displayed in our corporate life in families and throughout society.
- May the afflicted of the people be vindicated, the children of the needy be saved and the oppressor be crushed in the land of our planting, of our promise.
- May our leaders reside over deliverance for the needy when they cry out, and shower compassion upon the afflicted and the poor to rescue them from oppression and violence. May they make pathways for the less fortunate to prosper and the diligent to succeed. Let their eyes be open, their ears be attentive. Let their hearts be receptive to Your ways.
- Let the people fear You as long as the sun and the moon endure from generation to generation.
- May the rulers You give to us be to us like rain upon the mown grass and showers that water the earth…gifts of life and shalom from heaven, the wonder of Your blessing.
- Let the people pray for their leaders continually and bless them in the responsibilities they carry in behalf of everyone. May the prayers of the people be the true strength of the cities and the nation. Blessed are the nations whose God is the Lord!
- Bless our nations with bountiful harvests, successful businesses, good repour with our neighboring nations, lucrative and honest trade partners, strong and secure economies that provide jobs for all who can work. Our prosperity is directly linked to Your blessings in our cities and nations.
- Let our leaders across the breadth of our citizenry, fathers and mothers, mayors and councilmen, civil servants, governors and presidents, educators, writers and publishers, artisans, inventors, doctors, lawyers, scientists, tradesmen, employers, judges, police and soldiers be renown for their goodness, their integrity, their wisdom and their service.
Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone works wonders! And blessed be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen.
Praying the Exodus for Tribes and Nations,
Peoples and Generations,
Cities, Towns and Populations
A Strategic Declaration for Onsight Praying
In Nations Closed to the Gospel
In the name of Jesus Christ to whom all authority in
heaven and on earth was given by the Father, let this
intercession offered boldly and with full confidence
before His Throne of Grace in this time and place
be inaccessible and unintelligible to rulers and
authorities, principalities, worldly forces of
darkness and spiritual powers of wickedness who
have been defeated, cast down, disarmed, triumphed
over and made a public display of by Jesus Christ
the Lord of all lords and His hosts. Let these prayers
be covered by the ever-present governorship of the
Holy Spirit on earth, the hosts of heaven who have
been given assignments to this place and to us at
this time, and by the fullness of the proprietary
activity of the family business, Almighty God and
Sons. So be it!
A Strategic Positioning for Agreement with Those
Praying in Nations Closed to the Gospel
Father, hear these prayers of agreement with those
who are praying these same things in these days in
Morocco. Empower these prayers before Your
Throne through our agreement. Magnify Yourself
and bring Your word to pass in our days.
Keep the voice of our intercessions from the ears
and understanding of the enemies of Your Gospel.
May You be greatly exalted in Morocco and may
Your word be a powerful force in the destiny of that
nation. Hear us as we pray together.
1) In the spirit of, ‘Ask me of things to come
concerning my sons and concerning the work of my
hands, command me,’ we cry, ‘Rise up, O God,
unsheathe your sword; say to the unjust rulers, the
enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of darkness
in our generation, in the cities and the nations, ‘Let
my people go that they may serve me.’ Speak in
this generation and say, ‘Let my people go that they
may share in the inheritance of the saints in light;
that those who are under the dominion of
darkness may be rescued and transferred into the
kingdom of the Beloved Son, having received
redemption, the forgiveness of their sins.’ Declare
aloud today this exaltation of Jesus Christ, ‘He is
the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all
creation. For by Him all things were created, both
in the heavens and on the earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers
or authorities – all things have been created
through Him and for Him. He is before all things,
and in Him all things hold together. He is the head
of the body, the church; and He is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself
will come to have first place in everything.’ Is it
not written, ‘For it was the Father’s good pleasure
for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through
Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made
peace through the blood of His cross; through Him,
whether things on earth or things in heaven.’
(Is.45:11b, Ex. 7:16, Col. 1:12-20)
2) There are many ‘kings of the earth’ and rulers in
every sphere of life today who are devising a vain
thing, taking their stand and taking counsel together
against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
‘Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their
cords from us;’ yet there are also many who say, ‘O
that we might see some good. Let the light of your
countenance shine on us, O Lord.’ And there are
those who say, ‘There is no help for you in God.’
But it is written that You, O Lord, are a shield
around us, our glory and the lifter of our heads.
Today we say, ‘Rise up, O God, unsheathe your
sword; speak according to your word; say to the
unjust rulers, the enslavers of the peoples, the
dominion of darkness, ‘Let my people go that they
may serve me; let them go that all those who
receive Jesus Christ and believe in his name may
receive the power to become children of God, my
children, born not of blood or the will of the flesh
or the will of man but of God.’
It is written, ‘God so loved the world that he
gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to
condemn the world, but that the world might be
saved through him. He who believes in Him is not
judged; he who does not believe has been judged
already, because he has not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God. This is the
judgement, that the Light has come into the world,
and men loved the darkness rather than the Light,
for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does
evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light
for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who
practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his
deeds may be manifested as having been wrought of
God.’ It is written. Let it be in this place in our day!
(Ps. 2, 3, 4, John 1:12-13, 3:16-21)
3) Let all who take refuge in you rejoice. Let us
ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over us so
that those who love your name may exult in you.
For you bless the righteous, O Lord. You cover us
with favor as with a shield. O Lord, you hear the
desire of the meek. So then we say, ‘Rise up, O
God, unsheathe your sword; say to the unjust rulers,
the enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of
darkness, the Pharaohs of our day, “Let my people
go that they may serve me; that the poor in spirit
may receive the kingdom; that they may, as those
who mourn, be comforted by the Comforter
himself; that the meek may inherit the earth; that
all who are hungry for righteousness may be
filled; that all who have received great mercy from
me may be agents of my mercy throughout the
earth; that all those given to the Son may receive
new hearts in exchange for hearts of stone and as
the pure in heart, see their God; that my children
may be peace makers as befits the brethren of the
Prince of Shalom, their reigning king; that even
those who are persecuted for righteousness may
receive the kingdom; and so that all who are mine,
when they are reviled, persecuted and suffer false
witnesses speaking against them on my account,
may rejoice and be glad for the reward that awaits
them in heaven, for their identification with the
prophets of old and their Lord Jesus Christ.”
(Ps. 5 and 10, Mt. 5)
4) O God…remember your congregation, which
you acquired long ago, which you redeemed to be
the tribe of your heritage…Yours is the day, yours is
the night; you established the luminaries and the
sun. You have fixed all the bounds of the earth; you
made summer and winter. Remember this, O Lord,
how the enemy scoffs and an impious people revile
your name. Do not deliver the soul of your dove to
the wild animals; do not forget the life of your poor
forever. Have regard for your covenant, for the dark
places of the land are full of haunts of violence. Do
not let the downtrodden be put to shame; let the
poor and needy praise your name. Rise up, O God,
plead your cause; remember how the impious scoff
at you all day long. Do not forget the clamor of your
foes, the uproar of your adversaries that goes up
continually. Rise up, O God, unsheathe your sword;
say to the peoples who plot in vain, who do not see
fit to acknowledge God and so are given over to a
debased mind – who, by virtue of their sinful
choices, are filled with all kinds of wickedness, evil,
covetousness, malice, envy, murder, strife, deceit,
craftiness, gossip, slander, God-hate, insolence,
haughtiness, boasting, inventions of evil, rebellion
toward parents, foolishness, faithlessness,
heartlessness, ruthlessness, lust and impurity of
heart…say to the kings and the rulers of the earth in
cities, counties, nations, social institutions,
economic entities, secret societies, false religions,
illegal/unholy alliances and tyrannical associations
of the aforementioned who take counsel together
against you, Lord, and against your anointed to
whom you have declared, ‘You are my son; today I
have begotten you. Ask of me and I will make the
nations your inheritance and the ends of the earth
your possession’… say in these days, O Lord, ‘Let
my people go that they may serve me; that brothers
and sisters by the mercies of God might present
their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable to God as spiritual worship; that they
would no longer be conformed to this world but be
transformed by the renewing of their minds, thus
proving what the will of God is – what is good;
that millions and billions would not be ashamed of
the gospel, which is the power of God for salvation
to everyone who believes; that nothing short of
righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
among my people might represent the kingdom of
God on earth as in heaven; and, that the whole
earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory
of the Lord as the waters cover the seas.
(Ps. 74, Rom. 1, 12, 14; Ps. 2; Hab. 2:14)
5) Rise up, O God, judge the earth; for all the
nations belong to you…O God, do not keep silence;
do not hold your peace or be still. Even now your
enemies are in tumult; those who hate you have
raised their heads. They lay crafty plans against
your people; they consult together…they conspire
with one accord; against you they make a covenant
– who said, ‘Let us take the pastures of God for our
own possession.’ Rise up, O God, unsheathe your
sword; say once again to the unjust rulers, the
enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of darkness,
‘Let my people go that they may serve me; that I
may be their Shepherd, restore their souls and lead
them in paths of righteousness for my own name’s
sake; that they shall not want neither shall they
fear evil; that they may sit with me at the table I set
before them in the presence of our enemies; that
goodness and mercy shall accompany them all the
days of their lives, and that they may dwell in my
house forever.’ (Ps. 82, 83 and Ps. 23)
6) O my God make them like whirling dust, like
chaff before the wind. As fire consumes the forest,
as flame sets the mountains ablaze, so pursue them
with your tempest and terrify them with your
hurricane. Fill their faces with shame so that they
may seek your name, O Lord…Let them know that
you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most
High over all the earth. Rise up, O God, unsheathe
your sword; say once again to the unjust rulers, the
enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of darkness,
‘Let my people go that they may serve me…to open
their eyes so they may turn from darkness to light
and from the power of Satan to God, that they may
receive release from sin as well as a place among
those who are made holy through trusting in me
…that they may join the chosen people, my royal
priesthood, my holy nation, the people of my
possession on earth as in heaven…that those who
are released from the domain of darkness into
marvelous light may proclaim the praises of the
One who called them out and liberated them from
the captivity of the lie! Shout in the nations, O
Light of the nations, ‘Let my people go that they
may live in marvelous light!’
(Ps. 83, Acts 26:18, I Peter 2:9)
7) O let the evil of the wicked come to an end but
establish the righteous, You who test the minds and
the hearts, O righteous God. See how they conceive
evil and are pregnant with mischief and bring forth
lies. They make a pit – digging it out – and fall into
the hole that they have made. Their mischief returns
upon their own heads and on their own heads their
violence descends. Rise up, O God, unsheathe your
sword; say in our day to the unjust rulers, the
enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of darkness,
‘Let my people go that they may serve me.’ Let
Your voice thunder, saying, ‘Let my people go that
they may be released from the corruption that is in
the world because of sinful desires; that their lives
may be porous to every great and precious promise
I have made; and that they may receive by divine
power everything they need for life and godliness.’
Lift the veil of darkness, O Lord of Light, that is
over the eyes of those in captivity in the nations.
Tear it in two from top to bottom as the veil in the
Temple was rent at the moment of Your death, the
hour of release from the household of slavery that is
their Egypt and from their appointed taskmasters
who afflict them with slave labor and bitterness.
(Ps. 7, 2 Peter 1:3-4, Matt. 27:51, Ex. 1:11-14)
8) Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let
those who hate him flee before him. As smoke is
driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts
before the fire, let the wicked perish before God.
But let the righteous rejoice before God; let them be
jubilant with joy. So, then, rise up, O God,
unsheathe your sword; say to the unjust rulers, the
enslavers of the peoples, the dominion of darkness,
‘Let my people go that they may serve me; that
they may sing to their God, yes, sing praises to his
name; that my people might lift up a song to him
who rides upon the clouds and be exultant before
him: that all the earth might make a joyful noise
to the Lord; that the peoples might come into my
presence and worship with gladness in the
knowledge that I am God, that I made them, that
they are mine – the people of my pasture and the
sheep of my hand; that they might enter my gates
with thanksgiving, my courts with praise, giving
thanks, blessing my name in the knowledge that I
am good, my steadfast love endures forever and
my faithfulness lasts to all generations.
Amen and amen! (Ps. 68 and 100)
Pray the Exodus – The Gospel for All Nations
Praise the Lord all nations!
Extol Him all you peoples!
For great is His steadfast love toward us
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord! (Psalm 117)
It is written: ‘The God who made the world and
everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and
does not live in temples made by human hands. And
he is not served by human hands as if he needed
anything. Rather he himself gives everyone life and
breath and everything else.
Praise the Lord all nations!
-From one man he made all the nations that they
should inhabit all the earth; and he marked out their
appointed times in history and the boundaries of
their lands. God did this so that they would seek
him and perhaps reach out for him and find him,
though he is not far from any of us. For in him we
live and move and have our being.
Extol Him all you peoples!
It is written: The gospel is the power of God for
salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first
and also to the gentiles. For in it the righteousness
of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is also
written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.’
Great is His steadfast love toward us!
The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by
their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what
can be known about God is plain to them, because
God has shown it to them. For his invisible
attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine
nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the
creation of the world, in the things that have been
made. So, they are without excuse. For although
they knew God, they did not honor him as God or
give thanks to him, but they became futile in their
thinking and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Claiming to be wise, they became fools and
exchanged the glory of the immortal God for
images resembling mortal man and birds and
animals and creeping things. Therefore, God gave
them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to
the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
because they exchanged the truth about God for a
lie and worshiped and served the creature rather
than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
The faithfulness of the Lord endures forever!
It is written: He will render to each one according
to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing
seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will
give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking
and do not obey the truth but obey unrighteousness,
there will be wrath and fury. There will be
tribulation and stress for every human being who
does evil…but glory and peace for everyone who
does good…for God shows no partiality.
Praise the Lord all nations!
-What then? Jews and Gentiles are under sin, as it is
written: ‘None is righteous, no, not one; no one
understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned
aside; together they have become worthless; no one
does good, not even one.’ But now the
righteousness of God has been manifest – the
righteousness of God through faith in Christ Jesus
for all who believe.
Extol Him all you peoples!
There is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God, and are justified by his
grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a
propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.
This was to show God’s righteousness, because in
his divine forbearance he had passed over former
sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present
time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the
one who has faith in Christ Jesus.
Great is His steadfast love toward us!
What does the Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed
God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.’
Now to the one who works, his wages are not
counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who
does not work but believes in him who justifies the
ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, just
as David also speaks of the blessing of the one
whom God counts as righteousness apart from
works: ‘Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are
forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the
man against whom the Lord will not count his sins.’
-That is why it depends on faith, in order that the
promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all
his offspring – not only to the adherent of the law
but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham,
who is the father of us all, as it is written, ‘I have
made you the father of many nations.’
The faithfulness of the Lord endures forever!
It is written: While humanity was still weak in
sinfulness, at the right time Christ died for the
ungodly…yes, God shows his love for humankind
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us…for if while we were enemies we were
reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much
more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved
by his life. So, just as sin came into the world
through one man, and death through sin, so death
spread to all men because all sinned. But the free
gift is not like the trespass. For if many died
through one man’s trespass, much more have the
grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that
one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for many.
Praise the Lord all nations!
For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned
through that one man, much more will those who
receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of
righteousness reign in life through the one man,
Jesus Christ… so that, as sin reigned in death, grace
might also reign through righteousness leading to
eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord.
Extol Him all you peoples!
Do you not know that all who have been baptized
into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Those who were buried with him in baptism, were
baptized in order that just as Christ was raised from
the dead by the glory of the Father, humanity might
walk in newness of life…for the wages of sin is
death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Great is His steadfast love toward us!
The faithfulness of the Lord endures forever!
What does the Scripture say: The word is near
you, even in your mouth – the word of faith which
is proclaimed – because if one confesses with his
mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believes in his
heart that God has raised him from the dead, he will
Praise the Lord all nations!
Thus it is written also, ‘Now to him who is able to
strengthen all according to the gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the
revelation of the mystery that was kept for long
ages but has now been disclosed and through the
prophetic writings has been made known to all
nations, according to the command of the eternal
God, to bring about the obedience of faith – to the
only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus
Christ! Amen.
Extol Him all you peoples!
For the testimony of Jesus is the
spirit of prophesy.’
Great is His steadfast love toward us!
Let my people go to worship
me!’
The faithfulness of the Lord endures forever!
It is written, let it be heard, ‘Behold, now is the
favorable time; behold, now is the day of Salvation
…The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So let us
cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor
of light…putting on the new self, created after the
likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.’
So be it! Amen!
Praise the Lord all nations!
Extol Him all you peoples!
For great is His steadfast love toward us
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord!
Pray the Exodus from the Psalms of Ascent - L.A.
Lord of all, Creator of all things other than Yourself
without exception, Ancient of days, Almighty God –
Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent – who has
testified of Himself, by saying in these words through
the prophet, Isaiah: Thus says the high and exalted One
who lives forever, whose name is Holy, ‘I dwell in a
high and holy place and also with him who is contrite
and lowly in spirit to revive the spirit of the lowly and
the heart of the contrite,’ hear this, our prayer, for the
nations of Latin America.
Thank you for revealing yourself in so many ways.
Thank you that we can trust you to be the same yester-
day, today and forever; to be the Lord, as you have said,
and the Redeemer you have proven yourself to be in
Jesus Christ. You seek and you save the lost. All who
call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Lover of this
cosmos, Maker of humankind in your own image (male
and female, you made us), Sender of your only begotten
Son born of the virgin, Mary (who herself, was found to
be with child by the Holy Spirit, according to the word
that the angel of the Lord spoke to Joseph in a dream,
saying, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take
Mary as your wife; for the child who has been conceived
in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son and you
shall call his name Jesus, for He will save His people
from their sins.’)
O Father who decides, our Lord who always fulfills
His own word, You caused all this to take place on earth
as it had been decided in heaven to fulfill what was
spoken through the prophet, ‘Behold, the virgin shall be
with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His
name Emmanuel,’ which translated means ‘God with
us.’ The Scriptures tell us that in order for your word to
come to pass, Mary spoke, ‘Behold, the bondslave of the
Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.’ to
the angel who had appeared to her, saying to her, ‘Do not
be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And
behold, you shall conceive in your womb and bear a son,
and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will
be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God
will give Him the throne of His father David; and He
will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His
kingdom will have no end.’ Yes! And it also took the
faith filled response of Joseph, for it is written, ‘Joseph
awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord
commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, but kept her
a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His
name Jesus.’
This Is Our Cry
And now, Lord of the nations, who brought Simion –
‘righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of
Israel and the Holy Spirit was upon him’ – to hold Jesus
in his arms (on the very day Joseph and Mary brought
him to be dedicated as a firstborn to the Lord) and to
prophesy over Him, saying, ‘My eyes have seen Your
salvation, which You have prepared in the presence of all
peoples, a light of revelation to the gentile nations and
the glory of Your people, Israel.’ This is our cry in
agreement with Simeon’s word over Jesus and all those
who have prayed from that day until this:
that the nations would be brought to praise the Lord as
Israel was graciously brought to that reality through the
Exodus, and through the prophetic voice of Moses
ringing in Pharoah’s courts in the name of the Lord and
on their behalf, ‘Let my people go that they may serve
me!’ and…
that all peoples would come to extol You in the way
that believing Israel did through the Aliyyah and the
Psalms of Ascent; and…
that You would manifest that awesome reality wherein
You are not only ‘the high and exalted One who lives
forever, whose name is Holy, who dwells in a high and
holy place,’ but You are also the One who is Love, the
One who dwells with humans, and now in humans, who
are ‘contrite and lowly in spirit to revive the spirit of the
lowly and the heart of the contrite;’ and…
that, according to Your promise to Your Son, nations
would be His inheritance and the ends of the earth His
possession; and…
that on the day of the Lord, when nations will be called
to account before the throne of God to be sorted out on
His right and His left, answers to our prayers in the
Spirit would be manifest and glorious!
Our Intercession
And so, we intercede for the nations in these days,
that they would ‘remember’ in the Davidic language of
Psalm 22 (all about the passion of the Christ) where it is
written: All the ends of the earth will remember and turn
to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will
worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s and
He rules over the nations.
It is of great historical significance on earth when a
people, a critical mass of a population, cry out to the
Lord with their voices, saying those things they believe
in their hearts like Israel was instructed to do in the
Psalms of Ascent when they were on their way up to
worship, on their way up to obey their God, on their way
up to being the people of the Lord of the whole earth,
their God, who is ‘the Hope of all the ends of the earth.’
It is our hope and the substance of our intercessory
declaration today that nations would praise the Lord and
peoples would extol His name for His great loving-
kindness toward humanity and His faithfulness which
endures forever; for lovingkindness and truth have met
together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other,
truth springs from the earth and righteousness looks
down from heaven. And it is written: For as the earth
brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things
sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause
righteousness and praise to spring up before all the
nations.
In kind with these realities, we are prayerfully
declaring:
Let the populations of Latin America testify,
‘In my distress I cried to the Lord and He answered me,’
because they have actually cried out to the Lord in their
time of need. Let them call on the name of the Lord and
be saved. Let them know that ‘the Lord, He is God. We
are His people, the sheep of His pasture.’
Let them realize that their help comes from
the Lord who made heaven and earth and no one else
contrary to Him, His way, His truth, His life. Let them
come to know and trust Him who ‘will not let your foot
be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber nor sleep
for the Lord is your keeper, your shade on your right
hand, so, the sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon
by night. The Lord will keep you from evil; He will keep
your soul and will guard your coming in and going out
from this time forth and forever more.’ Let them know
the Lord.
Let them say to one another, ‘I was glad when
they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord!’ Let
them be glad to give thanks to the name of the Lord. Let
them be glad to be in synch with Him and each other.
Let them embrace this, His word – You shall love the
Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and
strength and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Let them confess, ‘To you I lift my eyes, O You
who are enthroned in the heavens!’ because they believe
He is and look to Him, believing Him to be their master,
their gracious Lord, even when scoffers and contemp-
tuous people, the proud, are all around them. Indeed,
‘Blessed is the man, the family, the congregation, the
city, the culture, the nation who does not walk in the
council of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers! For the Lord knows the
way of the righteous. Let them be the blessed.
Let the people see that it is the Lord who is good
to nations; it is he who delivers peoples from slavery to
other nations. Let them see and say, ‘If it had not been
the Lord who was on our side when people rose up
against us, then they would have swallowed us alive;
when their anger was hot against us, the raging waters
would have swept over us. Blessed be the Lord who has
not given us to be torn by their teeth…our help is in the
name of the Lord.’
Let those who trust in the Lord all over Latin
America be like Mount Zion, those who cannot be
moved from their beliefs, from their faithful God, from
His word and His ways, but remain forever His. And let
them trust Him for their whole nation to be ‘under God’
…standing in their place among the nations in strength
as of old, as those have done who trusted in the Lord
historically… just as Paul told the Athenians concerning
the Gospel, ‘The God who made the world and all things
in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth…made from
one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face
of the earth, having determined their appointed times
and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would
seek God, if perhaps they grope for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each of us; for in Him we live
and move and exist…’
Let it be for the nations of Latin America when
they return to the Lord, like it was for Israel when they
were brought back from the north, saying, ‘When the
Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those
who dreamed’…like those who found their promised
land once again…like the joyful reception of the
Prodigal when he returned to the household of his
Father…like the children of Israel when they were
delivered from Pharoah’s army on the far side of the Red
sea, dancing and singing, ‘I will sing unto the Lord for
he has triumphed gloriously, the horse and the rider,
thrown into the sea. The Lord, my God, my strength, my
song, has now become my victory!’
Let it be said in all the nations, ‘Unless the Lord
builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless
the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays
awake in vain.’ This is the testimony of those who have
learned from history, from their experience and the
revelation of just who the Lord really is, and just how
real it is to be His people…today, a chosen race, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own
possession, so that they may proclaim the excellencies of
Him who has called us out of darkness into His
marvelous light…Let this testimony be a foundation
stone in the nations whose people embrace the Lord!
Let the confession, ‘Blessed is everyone who
fears the Lord, who walks in his ways.’ be the coinage of
Latin America…a new definition of common heritage
and inheritance, recognized as that which brings the
blessings of God our Creator and Sustainer down upon
us, saved and unsaved alike, when it comes to the
citizenry as a whole. Let the people recognize the Lord.
Let them recognize that He is glorious, and He is strong.
Let them give Him the glory due His name!
Let the same grit and tenacity be found in the
Latin nations as was evident in Israel when they would
testify, ‘Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth,
yet they have not prevailed against me.’ What a wonder
it would be for the people who have been scorned,
spoken against, afflicted, rejected, persecuted, enslaved,
and imprisoned, to declare, ‘I’m still standing! My faith
is unwavering by the grace of God, and Jesus Christ is
Lord, my Lord and Lord of all the earth!’ Let it be!
Let all those who are aware enough, who are
wise enough to say to the living God, ‘If you, O Lord,
should mark iniquities, who could stand? But with you
there is forgiveness, that you may be feared,’ also say,
‘Father in heaven hallowed be your name…’ Let their
lives be built on the fear, the awe, the recognition of the
Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom; it is the
embrace of that which is eternal in our temporal world
and the solid ground upon which we can build our lives,
our families, the generations, society, cities, nations and
the destinies for which we were ordained. Let them ‘seek
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and let
them all pray, ‘May your kingdom come and your will
be done on earth as in heaven…and deliver us from
evil!’
Let it be that Your people with all kinds of
personalities, gifts, callings, spheres of influence,
geographical placements, national citizenships and
cultural heritages would come to be oriented toward you
in the spirit of this testimony: ‘O Lord, my heart is not
proud; my eyes are not raised too high, nor do I involve
myself in matters too great or difficult for me. But I have
calmed and quieted my soul before you like a weaned
child because I hope in the Lord.’ Let the people God
hope in the Lord all over Latin America!
Let the cries of your people in these days be a
call to their God for his promises, his covenants, his
declarations, his blessings, his faithfulness. Let them call
out, ‘Answer us today according to your love for David;
from the place of your remembrances, O Lord, in
David’s favor and your favor upon the Son of David, as
well.’ Yes, let them cry out and say, ‘Who is the one who
wrote and sang your praises from his youth, giving
Psalms to your people for all generations and becoming
their king? Was it not David? And who is he who
declared to his earthly parents, ‘Don’t you know I must
be about my heavenly Father’s business?’ and to his
heavenly Father, ‘It is finished!’ in the hearing of the
whole cosmos, all peoples and nations, all principalities
and powers? Was it not the Son of David, the King of
kings and the Lord of lords?’
‘Who killed Goliath to save your people? Who
captured Jerusalem to make it the City of David, even
Zion, the city of your temple and the place of your
dwelling? And who was the Son of man who bruised,
even crushed the head of Satan? Who became the Living
stone, a choice and precious Cornerstone of the Church –
a spiritual house built up with living stones for a holy
priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ? Were these men not King David
and the Son of David, King Jesus?’
Let it be prayed, ‘Remember, it is written, ‘the Lord
swore a sure oath to David from which he will not turn
back…the Lord has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his
dwelling place…her priests I will clothe with salvation
and her saints will shout for joy! Remember, O Lord, in
David’s favor, in your favor toward the Son of David,
your begotten Son, you declared, ‘You are my Son,
today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will surely
give the nations as your inheritance and the ends of the
earth as your possession.’
Because of the Covenant blessings which have
been brought to us by the grace of God and the prayers
of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, when he prayed, ‘As
You sent me into the world, I also have sent them into
the world. For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they
themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask
on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe
in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even
as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also be
in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent me.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to
them, that they may be one, just as we are one,’ let it be
declared in truth and in faith throughout the Latin
American nations, ‘Behold how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity. It is like anointing oil upon
our heads…it is like the dew that comes down upon
Zion…for there the Lord commands His blessings, life
forever more.’
Let there be a call throughout every nation of
Latin America, from the mountains and the valleys, from
the rivers and the shores, from the cities and the villages,
from the well to do and the poor, from the old and from
the young from the official and the unofficial, from the
elected, the appointed, the servants and the served,
saying, ‘Come bless the Lord, all you servants of the
Lord…lift up your hands in the holy place…May the
Lord bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and
earth! Come bless the Lord!’
‘What does it take, O Lord, for this to happen on
earth as in heaven in the nations subsequent to the
Incarnation, the atoning sacrifice of the Son of God, His
death, His resurrection, His declaration that, ‘All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me,’
and in the context of His ascension to the right hand of
the Father, far above all rule and authority, power and
dominion not only in the age that is but in the one to
come?’ Whatever it takes, O Lord, that is what we cry
for in these prayers; for it is written: Behold, the arm of
the Lord is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear
so dull that it cannot hear.
We say, ‘Lion of Judah, come to Latin America! Light of
revelation to the nations, shine, shine, shine, shine,
shine! Glory of God’s full intention for Israel, spill out
as intended into the nations in our day! Let nations
come to this Light and their leadership to the brightness
of this rising! It is written: Let it be known…this
salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles and they
will also listen. Remember, that today…they will listen!
Let the preaching of the kingdom of God and the
teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ multiply
without hinderance throughout the lands of Latin
America! This is our hope with Israel, for Israel, with all
believers on earth, today, and for all the nations who, in
the power of the gospel, will turn and be healed!
